DIN rail Message and SFX Annunciator

What is the EASYsfx

The EASYsfx is a message player, in a DIN rail housing, with a MP3/WAV Player Board and 10W amplifier triggered from 4 external triggers .

The sound module can be controlled by 4 separate, voltage free (dry) contacts for ‘one-on-one’ inputs and by UART R232 serial port working with a MCU.

Great audio output, industry-grade design and strong anti-jamming capability make it possible to be used for many different applications.

Sound files can be a recorded message, a music track, fault reporting, etc. in MP3 or WAV format. These files are stored on a Micro SD card. Audio is output via a local 6W speaker (mutable), local earbuds or a stereo line level, for further amplification.

Application Notes

  7. Built-in 4MB SPI flash memory by default, and supports max. 16MB.
  8. Supports max. 32GB micro SD card.
  9. Possible to load audio files to the flash memory directly via the micro USB connecting with computer like using a USB flash drive.
  10. Equipped with a mono 10 watts amplifier that can drive a 10 watts speaker directly.
  11. Equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack for stereo output that can drive an earphone directly or connect with an external amplifier.
  12. Adjustable sound volume with the potentiometer.
  13. Wide range for power input(DC8-24V).

How is the EASYsfx used

  1. Fit the SD card with files containing sound tracks.
  2. Connect the power (preferably DC12V) to the terminals V+ and 0V.

  3. Connect the four trigger lines to K1 – K4 and the GND terminals.

  4. Set the volume potentiometer to half way point.

  5. If the line out socket is not used the local speaker will be active.

  6. If the line out socket is used the local speaker will be muted.

  7. For remote amplifier use connect its inputs to line out socket.

  8. Short either of K1 – K4 to GND to trigger the required sound track.
